Broken Heart: 2/3 Update

I’m officially 2/3 of the way through Broken Heart by Misty Rose and I genuinely cannot put this book down.

I was already invested at my 1/3 update, but I’m definitely more emotionally attached to the characters now. The relationships are getting more complicated, the emotional moments are hitting harder, and somehow every answer I get seems to leave me with even more questions.

There are so many little things happening that have me suspicious. I keep thinking I’ve figured something out, only for another detail to make me question everything again. At this point, I don’t completely trust anyone or anything.

I’m also really enjoying how much more layered the characters are becoming. There are people I’m frustrated with while also understanding why they’re making the choices they are, which makes everything feel much less black and white.

The quieter moments have surprised me too. Some of them have hit me just as hard as the bigger developments, especially now that I care so much more about these characters.

Basically, my current reading mood is:

Emotionally invested, overthinking everything, and desperate for answers.

I’ve only got the final third left now, and judging by the ridiculous number of tabs sticking out of this book, I think I’m going to have A LOT to say when I finish.
